Salary: £31,836 + Shift premium
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

These are exciting times at DHL and we are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to join us as a Linefeed Shift Manager.
You will manage and report upon the work activities of the Halewood Linefeed operation ; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
Team Management
Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
Facilitate effective communication
Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy
Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels
Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Local project Management
To Ensure car components are fed to production line in a JIT basis
Desired profile
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Excellent organisational skills
Minimum of 1 year experience of team management
Good analytical and numerical skills
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Computer literate
Knowledge of customs requirements
Knowledge of working time legislation
CPC Holder
Knowledge of internal procedures and practices
