What are you accountable for achieving as an Inventory Clerk?
Responsible for accurate counting of stock
Updating the warehouse management system to align with physical product quantities
Completion of spreadsheets and reports
Filing of paperwork in the appropriate folder or storage area
Conduct self in a safe & secure manner and maintain a safe working environment
Carry out duties with 'Passion' a 'Can Do' attitude and getting tasks 'Right First Time' as per DHL's essentials
Conduct activities & tasks ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Conduct activites ensuring that food safety standards are met at all times
Understanding customer priorities through regular liaison with line manager ensuring required actions are concluded in a timely and satisfactory manner
Ofloading of deliveries, receipt of stock to warehouse management system, replenishing operational work stations and areas
Assisting other departments when required in the case of absence
Ensuring all products supplied to the customer are of the highest quality, implementing systems and controls as necessary
What will you need as a successful Inventory Clerk?
Experience of the Rail Industry beneficial
Experience of travel catering beneficial
1-2 years Inventory processes experience preferred
Food operations experience beneficial
Cross department engagement
Experience of a compliance environment
Excellent numerical, writing and communication skills
Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Food Safety Level 2
Educated to secondary school standard
