Our customer, Jaguar Land Rover is the UK’s largest automotive manufacturing business, built around two iconic British car brands: Land Rover, the world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel drive vehicles and Jaguar, one of the world’s premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques.
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join us as a Finance Analyst at our Jaguar Land Rover site in Birmingham . The position holder will be responsible for providing assistance to the Finance Team with opportunity for future development, mainly focusing on data analysis, report building, sales and purchase ledger responsibilities.

What are you accountable for achieving as a Finance Analyst? 

Raising of weekly, monthly and quarterly invoices to JLR in an accurate and timely manner
Proactive management of customer Debt
Absence cover for the raising JLR Linefeed Purchase Orders via Oracle
Carry out key supplier statement reconciliations
Attend Monthly Trading Reviews with Finance team
Preparing and maintaining the financial accounts in the computerised accounting system and assist in preparing reports both for internal and external users eg Ford Trading
Lead on the Capex / Assure process ensuring DHL capex policy is followed at all times
Support the weekly absence reporting in terms of collating and maintaining data
Support the audit process by following best practice procedures and robust controls and evidencing such by the generation of ad hoc analysis and reports

What will you need as a successful Finance Analyst?
Financial background
Good analytical and numerical skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word Confidential and discreet
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communicator
Knowledge of Oracle
