These are exciting times at DHL and we are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to join us as an Assistant Finance Manager

To manage all aspects of the Tradeteam Midlands finance function within your area of responsibility, ensuring the provision of an efficient and reliable service to the Tradeteam Midlands region whilst meeting all budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities in this role will include:

Prepare budget forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances to budget / forecasts.
Ensure monthly P & L and balance sheet reporting is completed in a timely manner.
Oversee the preparation of weekly 'quicks' review and interrogate before issue to Commercial Controller.
Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
Ensure financial compliance to OCM audit standard to achieve a grade 1 on any audit.
Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice.
Raise site purchase orders, ILJS, sales invoices and any other finance administration as necessary
Supply DHL central functions and management team with adhoc information when required.
High level of communication with internal and external customers
Complete monthly finance packs and present in monthly finance reviews.

Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Essential
Educated to high school (secondary) standard
Budget management
Objective setting
People Management
Workload planning/ability to work to strict deadlines
2 years experience in a similar role
Computer Literate
Desirable
Key performance indicator development
Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional
Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/AAT
