Design, organize, manage and deliver projects and logistic concepts for customers and internal needs. Coordinate all aspects of process including communication with internal and external stakeholders. Insure the right solution is delivered to the customer (Internal Lufthansa Technik or external).

Tasks:

·  Development of Transportation and Distribution Warehouse concepts/solutions including Import/Export topics where relevant
·  Closely coordinate activities with assigned counterparts at Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services
·  Participate in the acquisition of customers and represent the company in terms of logistics
·  Analyze costs of logistic concepts
·  Develop logistic solution proposals to ultimately be shown to customer
·  Develop and execute plans to implement logistics solutions until process is established into routine handling
·  Monitor execution of logistic services
·  Analyze market and delivery conditions
·  Liaison with other company departments in concept development and execution
·  Manage, coordinate, participate in and execute logistic projects as directed
·  Identify suppliers and vendors needed in projects and participate in their final selection
·  Make recommendations within projects and concepts
·  Contact for customer requests, internal and external
·  Create Key Performance Indicators reports to measure delivered customer performance
·  Create Key Performance Indicators reports to measure internal process quality related to concepts
·  Represent Lufthansa Technik Logistik of America professionally with all internal/external colleagues
·  Travel regularly to meet with customers and/or internal colleagues, suppliers, etcetera
·  Think analytically and creatively and act independently
·  Other duties as assigned or required

Desired profile

Your profile

·  High school diploma/GED required
·  College degree/vocational training desirable: Master desirable, Bachelor desirable
·  Internship desirable
·  Professional experience desirable: 2 years
·  Language: English required, German desirable
·  Industry knowledge desirable: Transportation, Warehouse Distribution, Import/Export USA and/or other countries, Aircraft Material knowledge, Project Management, Aviation Logistics
·  Expert IT Knowledge: Excellent knowledge in Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint/Visio. Knowledge of SAP R/3 or other ERP system is desirable; Excellent use of email, internet, and other computer tools

Environmental Influences:

·  Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
·  Willingness for assessment screening
·  Willingness to travel
