The Line Maintenance Mechanic International manages the maintenance operation and performs all necessary steps to assure the operation according to EASA standards based on his/her MM1-INT authorization and IQMOVE.

Technical duties and responsibilities:

·  The MM-Int. performs routine maintenance works on condition that he/she has MM1-INT authorization
·  All tasks are performed in accordance with valid technical documentation and IQMOVE including revisions of technical documentations / the technical library to assure conformity with EASA regulations
·  The MM-Int. carries out maintenance work in accordance with the Practical Logbook.
·  He/she also carries out maintenance work assigned to him/her by higher qualified personnel
·  All tasks are performed in accordance with valid technical documentation and IQMOVE
·  All authorizations are described in the staff record, which also is part of the technical documentation
·  Duties assigned / delegated by the Technical Manager (TM)

Administrative duties and responsibilities:

·  He/she supervises all technical and operational aspects at the station and coordinates the work routines with internal and external parties’ including crews
·  He/she manages the entire technical handling and coordinates all flights allocated to his/her shift with the aim to ensure safety, punctuality and an appropriate customer service
·  He/she is responsible for the technical and disciplinary guidance of subordinate employees, including induction and instruction of employees

Technical Competences:

·  Successfully completed training as a specialist technical worker in an aviation profession or in a related profession for which credits are given towards authorization
·  In exceptional cases for overseas stations: Aeronautical maintenance training / Aviation college (minimum 2 years) / aeronautical degree, military service certificate or equivalent
·  Completion of MM1-INT Practical Logbook Training and Training Record “Lufthansa Technik Company Procedures”
·  Successfully completion of the MM1-INT workplace assessment
·  Basic knowledge of main IT applications (MS Office)
·  Fluency in English, both written and spoken
·  Knowledge of German desirable
·  Valid driving license
·  Valid passport

·  Authorized to perform routine line maintenance work; the authorization is given on a task basis for individual aircraft types/engines. (Practical Logbook)
·  Guidance of Maintenance Assistants with lower qualification
