Lufthansa Passage offers students (m/f) the chance to experience a dynamic working environment during an internship at the North American headquarters in East Meadow, NY.

All interns (m/f) are fully integrated into the team while supporting the daily business, as well as working on their own projects.

We are looking for motivated and proactive students (m/f) who use their knowledge to assist the Station Support Team.

As part of the local team, your tasks may include the following:

·  Supporting management in quality steering and process improvement activities, including Lean Management
·  Facilitating best practice sharing across all Lufthansa gateways in the Americas
·  Analyzing performance figures and preparing reports
·  Establishing training demand
·  Supporting the implementation of new Lufthansa products and procedures
·  Working on concepts to improve irregularity handling
·  Creating presentations to support decision making
·  Participating in meetings and workshops
·  Assisting with internal communication processes and taking care of intranet page
·  Supporting the Operations & Airport Service Team with administrative tasks

Desired profile

Your profile

·  Advanced students in aviation management or business administration with strong academic performance or advanced students of related disciplines with a focus on quality and/or process management

·  Interest in the Service Sector and passion for the Aviation Industry
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Excellent analytical skills
·  Excellent interpersonal skills
·  Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
·  Team-oriented, motivated, energetic personality
·  Ability to work independently and under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and organization
·  Very good administrative skills
·  Ability to handle different projects simultaneously
·  Fluency in English
·  Previous experience or studies in the aviation industry beneficial
·  Must fulfill all criteria to get J-1visa for the USA
