Lufthansa Passage offers students (m/f) the chance to experience a dynamic working environment during an internship at the North American headquarters in East Meadow, NY.

All interns are fully integrated into the team while working on their own projects as well as supporting the daily business. We are looking for motivated, qualified students (m/f) who use their knowledge to support the U.S. Marketing Department starting at the end of February 2016 for 6 months.

Your daily tasks and projects may include the following:

· Active involvement in marketing activities, promotion material, etc.
· Coordination of articles for our regular e-newsletters to LH.com subscribers
· Assisting with special events
· Exposure to the U.S. adaptation of the global advertising strategy
· Technical background including HTML, PHP, CSS, etc. would be beneficial for online work
· Creating and developing sales promotional materials
· Research, analysis and reporting of marketing activities, as needed
· Ad hoc project support and administrative duties such as writing reports and presentations

Desired profile

Your profile

· Advanced students (Intermediate diploma) in business administration/ marketing with strong academic performance
· Enrolled during the entire period of the internship or internship between the Bachelor and Master programm (Gap-Year)
· Previous practical experience in online marketing (qualified internship or apprenticeship)
· Experience with Web Content Management or online publishing systems
· Fluency in English is required, other foreign language is beneficial - international experience preferred
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, good administrative skills
· Team-oriented, motivated, energetic personality - very good interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and organization
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Commitment to customer service
· Excellent PC skills (MS Office, especially MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
· Must fulfill all criteria to get J-1 visa for the U.S.
