Lufthansa Cargo’s Area Management Asia-Pacific has its headquarter in Singapore and manages an area that includes the Middle East, India, South East Asia, Greater China, Japan, Korea and Australia. Five regions with offices in Delhi, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo make up this culturally diverse area, which is home to more than 250 employees.

The Handling & Processes Asia Pacific Team is responsible for area-wide handling and processes. With an experienced & diverse team, our mission is to provide widespread operational support, guidance and service to our colleagues in the Asia Pacific Area.

We are looking for an intern (m/f) to join and support our Handling team based in Singapore. You will be assigned with the following tasks:

· Organisation of own projects in operations/ground handling (warehouse & aircraft)
· Takeover of responsibility in providing regular operational reporting
· Development of concepts, supporting the individual team members
· Preparation of presentations visible to Senior Management
· Support in the organization of events and trainings
· Ad hoc tasks

Desired profile

Your profile

· At the date of the internship you have completed the 3rd semester of (Air) Transport Engineering, Logistics, Business administration, Economics or Natural sciences
· Enrolled during the entire period of the internship (at a university specified by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower) or internship between the Bachelor and Master program (Gap Year)

· Preferably with some practical working experience in related environment, or strong interest in aviation and freight
· Quick and resourceful, flexible, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
· Ability and motivation to work in a team
· Strong analytical skills, an eye for details and strong conceptual thinking
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· High degree of intercultural competence and cultural sensitivity
· Good command of German & English language
· Good MS Office application skills- especially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. MS Access is desirable
