Lufthansa Passage offers students (m/f) the chance to experience a dynamic working environment during an internship at the Americas headquarters in New York. All interns are fully integrated into the team while working on their projects as well as supporting the daily business.

We are looking for motivated and proactive students (m/f) who use their knowledge to support our Finance & Controlling Department.

As part of the North America team, your tasks may include the following:

· Support management in Finance and Controlling
· Prepare and develop standard reports and analyses
· Research industry related trends and developments
· Perform market, benchmarking and/or SWOT analyses
· Support team members on Lufthansa Group integration topics
· Creation of presentations for local management and analysts
· Support all local departments by providing data and information
· Support ad-hoc projects and administrative duties as needed
· Outline strategic options moving forward
· Developing automated business solutions

Desired profile

Your profile

· At the date of the internship you have completed the 2nd semester in business administration or related studies with strong academic performance
· Enrolled during the entire duration of the internship or internship between the Bachelor and Master program (Gap Year)
· High affinity to aviation industry in general and airline alliances specifically
· Strong analytical background (affinity to numbers)
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Very good interpersonal skills
· Expert knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel, VBA skills, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
· Ability to work in team and under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and organization
· Ability to handle different projects simultaneously
· Previous experience or studies in the aviation industry preferred
· International experience (preferred, but not required)
· Fluency in English and German, other foreign languages of advantage
· Must fulfill all criteria to get J-1visa for the USA
