Ground Operations Safety and Quality Expert (m/f) part-time (50%)

Job description

The Ground Operations Safety and Quality Auditing (HG/QQ) is part of the Ground Operations Department at Austrian Airlines and responsible for the Safety and Quality of all Ground Operations worldwide. Therefore it is one major task to assess new ground operations providers at all stations within the Austrian and/or Lufthansa Group network prior to the operations. Another main topic consists of performing the IATA pool audits of providers at stations worldwide on behalf of the NP Ground which include Fuel (IFQP), De-/Anti-Icing (DAQCP) and Potable Water (IDQP). Due to the function of the Ground Operations Department for Safety & Quality (HG/Q) at Austrian Airlines as Process Owner, the HG/Q-Team is responsible for all Ground Operations Safety and Quality processes within the Lufthansa Group. Therefore the focus is to work on harmonizing the processes in this area within the hub carriers Austrian, Lufthansa (-Citiyline) and Swiss. 

What are your responsibilities?

·  Taking active part in in group-wide safety working groups and initiatives
·  Implementing and executing Safety & Quality processes
·  Analyzing, initiating, documenting processes
·  Preparation of key deciding factors and concepts
·  Familiarization with topic of IATA Pool-Audits followed by independent execution

 For this position the gross annual salary is amounted to minimum 33.838 EUR on full-time basis according to the collective agreement, excluding all possible allowances. An overpayment depends on your individual qualification and adequate professional experience. The explicit salary is calculated prorated to the level of employment (50%).
