Aviation Automation Software Test Engineer (M/F)

Job description

Responsible for automated testing of aviation software applications, and creation and maintenance of Quality Assurance documentation

Tasks:

·  Test software applications according to software specification
·  Design and develop automated tests scripts
·  Create and maintain Quality Assurance documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
·  Develop test cases based on functional specifications and requirements documentation
·  Execute test cases
·  Report defects using defect tracking system
·  Perform verification of defect fixes
·  Create and maintain effective test environment and test data
·  Collaborate with software engineers to develop the best testing strategies
·  Collaborate with domain experts and business analysts to promote the quality of functional documentation and requirements
·  Work in accordance with company software development process and comply with 
company quality standards
·  Ensure in time completion of assigned tasks
·  Frequently report work progress and risks to supervising manager
·  Provide consultancy and training to other employees
·  Comply with company rules of cooperation
·  Maintain good relationship with customers
·  Maintain technical software documentation
