Internship contributing to research projects on banking supervision
Place of work: Frankfurt am Main
Commencing: immediately, subject to agreement
Duration: three to six months (maximum)
What we have to offer
This internship offers you the opportunity to gain an understanding of the tasks and activities of the banking supervision team and its research experts.
During the internship, you will be required to support our researchers in exploring topical issues and conducting ongoing research projects. You will be afforded an insight into the key points of focus of their work, inter alia through contact with the research programme and the Bundesbank's series of discussion papers.
What we need from you
- A sound knowledge of economics, econometrics and mathematics, eg acquired by studying economics, business administration (with a particular emphasis on finance), business mathematics or the like.
- No fewer than 4 semesters of study.
- Very good command of Stata, Matlab, R or similar.
- Interest in banking supervision matters.
- Familiarity with econometric and/or financial mathematics.
- Sound knowledge of German.
