Duration: 3 - 6 months* / Start: upon consultation / Working hours (per week): 39 hours

As an Intern - Risk Management you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. The main task of the department is the development of clearing business in match with the market. You will gain an insight into different areas, first of all in risk management, and you will contribute to new developments. Risk management within clearing business includes the rating and the provision against market price risks for all product classes (stocks, derivatives and bonds). You will be actively taking part in our processes, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
Your responsibilities
Quantitative statistical analyses for risk management
Compilation of new concepts and support in the advancement of current processes and products
Development of a process model for a periodical data analysis regarding market share, turnover and competitions structures
Investigation of new developments on the market and in the field of research within the area of risk management
Support of the CCP Risk Management Department
Our requirements
Matriculation throughout the duration of your intership at a state approved university
Minimum of two semester of undergraduate studies
Economics, mathematics, and/or computer sciences as major field of study
Proficiency in written and spoken English, german is a plus
Competent handling of MS-Office applications (in particular MS Access and MS Excel)
Excellent knowledge in statistical analyses, knowledge in data bases desirable
Strong interest in capital markets and basic knowkedge of the derivatives market
Ability to work in a team
