Application Operator for the Calypso Platform (female/male)

Xetra/Eurex IT Operations operates applications for the trading and clearing platforms, e.g. Eurex, Xetra, CCP and the OTC clearing system based on Calypso. Xetra/Eurex IT Operations cares for continuous high available operations and incident management for the applications. We are looking for support as application administrator in the Production team for the Calypso platform.

Your responsibilities

Technical monitoring and securing production start of the Calypso based OTC system

Permanent monitoring of availability of the platforms during online times

Deployment of configuration and software changes

Performing day-end-batch of the system

Same tasks for all simulation environments and support of test and development systems

Incident management and initiation of escalation procedures

Daily status reporting, participation in production meetings/calls

Operations documentation

Support of risk control (business operations)

Second Level Support for the customer technical support (customer's requests)

Our requirements

Operating systems (basic system management, good user knowledge):

Advanced knowledge of the Calypso platform

Mandatory: RedHat Linux and scripting knowledge, JBoss and optional Java programming

Office automation knowledge Windows/Office and basic network knowledge (tcp/ip)

Shift working (2+ shifts), 6:00-24:00, Mon-Fri including holidays, few Saturdays

Good communication skills

Proficiency in written and spoken English, German language skills are an advantage
