Marketing Intern

We are looking for someone who:

-Wants to gain all-rounded experience in digital marketing, PR, events, social media, email marketing and sales related areas
-Can do whatever it takes to generate leads
-Will help to build awareness of the Despark brand and make sure people know what we do and why
-Is fearless, creative, courageous and has a passion for technology and digital marketing
-Is proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel, Adobe Photoshop
-Has strong attention to detail and experience in conducting research
-Is interested in learning about market intelligence, technology and the internet of things
-Has excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
-Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you are going to do:

-Conduct market research in targeted industries and companies in those markets
-Support with content creation for the website’s thoughts page including pieces on industry trends such as growth hacking, SEO, bots, mobile
-Help manage the social media channels with regular engagement
-Help plan new email marketing/social campaigns and initiatives to increase Desparks subscriber base and social community
-Support with events planning and to help source industry experts we can interview

This role is flexible and can work to a part/full-time basis

Desired profile

Diploma or Degree in a marketing related subject or transferable experience in a related role if no qualifications yet
