Denmaur Independent Papers Ltd are one of the few independent paper merchants left in the UK. We are a privately owned buisness based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Due to continued business growth we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director with all aspects of marketing. This would be a great opportunity for someone kicking off a career in marketing either as a graduate or 2nd jobber.

Key responsiblities of the role would be:-

• Act as the main inside contact for all back-selling activities in the company;
• To deliver activities for social media sites and e-shotting, developing these to enhance company communication with the design and print sectors;
• To help maintain the company internet and intranet sites ;
• Liaise with external suppliers, for SEO, AdWords and webhosts;
• Support contact with design agencies and end users
• To support the Marketing team at a number of external events
• Provide support creating presentations for the sales teams and the Directors

Skills sets/attributes:-

• Good understanding of Mircosoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, comfortable telephone manner, able to inspire confidence with customers and determination to contribute to a Service + environment
• Good understanding and experience of the marketing mix, its principals and implementation in a B2B and B2C environment
• Experience of developing and maintaining promotional campaigns across a number of mediums, both on and offline.
• Understanding of the art-working process and delivery to print
• Understanding and experience of the Graphics market
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work accurately and methodically
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious approach to work

Qualifications

At least educated to A level standard (or equivalent), but ideally a marketing or business related degree. Some marketing experience would be an advantage.

Location

This is principally an office role, based at Sittingbourne in Kent, but some travel may be involved.
