Position summary

What impact will you make?

Our Apprentices are here to shape their careers, as well as gain on-the-job experience. You’ll work right alongside your more experienced colleagues and be treated with the same respect from day one, in a permanent job. But you’ll also get extra time and support to help you gain your professional education.

Our Apprenticeship Scheme offers you the opportunity to work in Customer Services or HR. Both will give you experience of a busy, fast paced and diverse environment and will leave you with the skills and qualifications you’ll rely on throughout your entire career.

Why Customer Services?

Our Customer Services teams provide high quality, first line support across our HR, IT, Finance, Central Bookings and Switchboard service desks via multiple channels (self-service, email, web chat and voice). Whether dealing with inbound or outbound communications with employees, partners, suppliers or clients, we provide a consistently high quality of service through tailored solutions that meet their needs.

It’s a great opportunity. You will rotate through the different teams within Customer Services and our Training & Knowledge team, who develop programs and create learning interventions to support personal development programs, helping our people achieve their goals.

Why HR?

Our team delivers effective and efficient HR administration and guidance for all matters relating to future, current and former employees. This includes supporting new joiners on their journey into the firm and advising employees on the policies and processes that assist them throughout their careers.

It’s a wide remit. You will gain a broad range of practical experience and knowledge on all elements of an employee’s lifecycle as you rotate through the different teams within HR, building strong relationships and tailoring the support provided to each person based on their individual needs.

Your qualification will depend on the team you join:

·  Customer Services - Customer Services NVQ (levels 2 & 3)
·  HR - Business Administration (level 2) and Certificate in Personnel Development (level 3) qualifications.

You will receive a full study package and time off to attend college but, with Deloitte your professional qualification is only part of the story. We support all our trainees with a blended approach to training and development, classroom study, 1:1 coaching and support and, as you progress, technical and skills training to enable you to progress to management and leadership positions.

You will spend time away from the office to attend classes for tuition and revision stages of each exam. The classroom taught approach means that you will have the support of your peers and valuable study time for your exams.

We also operate a number of in-house training courses which will give you technical insight to assist you to keep up with changes in legislation and case law, both in the UK and worldwide.
