Job Title:  Sr. Software Engineer - IT (I7), Hyderabad

About Business Unit:

Dell's Digital GblOps Eng Design, Product Lifecycle Management team is hiring a Sr.Software Engineer - to deliver on initiatives for our PG business. Design team owns & supports Engineering Data & Product Group Applications for Client & Enterprise customers. Manage Business Relationship (Single POC) – Product Lifecycle Data and Product Development Groups in Client & Enterprise. Support all product development teams in Client and Enterprise from product conception, product launch till EOL building solutions that allows our PG teams to deliver on Dell's current and transformational initiatives. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell’s Product Lifecycle Management Solution transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for the gathering of requirements, analysis, design and implementation of high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product with a focus on software installation solutions.
·  Prioritize and lead group of Dev team members regarding the development, coding, testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.
·  Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope.
·  Responsible for the development and implementation of customized web applications. Assists in establishing group priorities relative to basic or very specific business needs.
·  Performs estimation efforts on projects. Conducts a range of quality-control tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
·  Responsible for Stake holder management across business and IT functions
·  Play key role for Production stability and health of PLM Ecosystem of apps. Proactively identifies recurring production issues and define the course of action to address permanently

Essential Requirements:

·  7 to 10 years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience. Out of this at least 3+ years of experience of architecture, design and development of enterprise-class Oracle Agile PLM solutions using java stack of technologies.
·  Strong Oracle Agile PLM implementation experience. Understanding of Oracle Agile product architecture, understand the nuances of PLM domain and managed some of the complex PLM programs
·  Have depth and width of decision making maturity to transform the engineering landscape 
·  Ability to manage and influence team members without direct reporting authority
·  Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; work with minimal supervision while delivering on action items in a timely fashion
· 
Expertise in test automation (specifically in UI Automation), Exposure to Test Framework and Techniques. 

Good automation skills – primarily with Java/python scripting. Test frameworks such as selenium, TestNG, pytest, Jenkins et.al with Emphasis on automation framework design skills. 

Mandatory Knowledge of web services/REST APIs/object storage service APIs.  

Working knowledge of Web services, Selenium is a plus

 Desirable Requirements:

·  Familiarity with Extreme Programming (Agile/SCRUM ) development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles
·  Knowledge of SOA Architecture
·  Strong  Experience in Dev -Ops ( CI/CD), Automation), Gitlab
·  Machine Learning
·  SCRUM Master certification a plus
