When you’re creating technology for a changing world, you need to know where you stand in terms of your inventory. Our Inventory Management team within Materials and Procurement takes charge of the security and accountability of our inventory by documenting transactions, verifying processes and procedures and reviewing systems. We conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts, correcting discrepancies where possible. We also audit incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
The Inventory Management team play a huge part in the protection of Dell’s physical assets & the integrity of it’s Financial/Inventory system of record. The primary function of this role is to perform system to system reconciliation between Dell & our 3PL inventory systems of record at a transactional level to understand any variance. This role will cover Inventory management at the following businesses - Fulfillment Logistics, Reverse Logistics & Original design manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:

Reconciliations and ad hoc inventory adjustments are completed in a timely manner to support accurate reporting of inventory balances quarterly.

Analyze results & report to the management team.
·
Drive for root cause/corrective actions with proper closure and action plan with stakeholders.
·
Ensure that appropriate root cause and corrective actions are driven to reduce variation in reported inventory balances.
·
Facility or functional operations are in compliance with all required physical inventory controls.
·
Complete all inventory control audits as required and analyze, drive corrective action for any findings.
·
Develop new audits where areas of risk are identified within the business.
·
Risk management that involve identify risk level, driving for solutions and process improvement.
·
Involve in projects impacting inventory to optimize, standardize Inventory management process and drive for consistency.
·
Work closely with cross functional team and participate in projects to drive for process improvement and knowledge sharing.
·
Engage, maintain & share best practices with your global team.
Essential Requirements:
·
At least a Bachelor's Degree holder.
·
Good analytical and MS computer skills (esp. Excel, Access).
·
Preferred with at least relevant 2-3 years experience in Inventory Control, Operations, Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain or IT; experience working with large datasets.

Self-directed and independent when completing business objectives.
