DELL EMC MRES (Midrange and Entry Solutions) works on cutting edge development for DELL EMC’s leading midrange storage arrays.  As a team member of a group developing very sophisticated Storage OS and File System features, the individual is expected to work to Storage/File System features/solutions.

Job Title: Software Engineer (Intern)

Job Responsibility:

Looking to be part of a unique opportunity to focus on the future of new technologies in the File protocol, File System and storage area, DELL EMC’s MRES Division is seeking talented engineers with world-class programming, communication and organizational skills. 

As a team member of a group developing very sophisticated Storage Management and File System features, the individual is expected to work to design and develop new NAS(Network Attached Storage) features.

Additional responsibilities include participation in and contribution to writing design specifications, code implementation, develop test plans, deliver unit test/integration test. The ideal candidate will have experience in file systems, data protection, operating systems, networking and device driver development. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility, strong motivation and a proven record of meeting aggressive deadlines as well as the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team spanning multiple geographical locations.

- Assist to write design specification, develop code, and bug fixing

- Design and deliver unit test

- Assist to integration test

Job Role: Internship in 2017 ( >= 4 days a week, 5 days a week preferred. Can work more than 6 months )

Qualifications:

- Master 2018 or 2019 graduates

- Major in computer science, software engineering, electric engineering or related fields.

- Fast learner, ability to take technologies quickly

- Strong problem solving skills

- The Passion for testing and the teamwork willing.

- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Technical Requirement

- Programming experience in C/C++, Perl/Python

- Experience in Unix/Linux operating system

- Knowledge in object-oriented programming

- Knowledge in network, file system, storage is a plus

- Good English speaking and writing skills
