Software Engineer 2 - Customer Insights and Data Management

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

·  Develops Data Quality and Governance solutions leveraging Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse, database, reporting and ETL technologies to solve complex business problems through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key stakeholders
·  Uses expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process, technology, project, service level agreements and staffing plans.
·  Interacts with business users and I/T to define current and future solutions and requirements.
·  Plans, conducts and manages assignments across multiple projects with varying priorities
·  Responsible for preparing design documentation, mapping specifications, development standards, and other documentation supporting solution

Essential Requirements

·  3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in business intelligence and data warehousing
·  2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Teradata stored procedures, Informatica Data Quality, and ETL design & development or Mulesoft, Java, technical metadata experience using products such as Manta or Collibra
·  Experience with data modeling, data mapping, database development including creating tables, views, and stored procedures, and performance tuning 
·  Experience working with enterprise database platforms including Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server
·  Experience with Unix scripting, Java, and .Net
·  Advanced knowledge of system development methodology, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.
·  Experience working on large complex enterprise projects.

Desirable Requirements

·  Preferable experience with Informatica Data Quality or Manta & Collibra working in Data Governance and Quality function
