The Dell EMC PowerEdge Product Marketing team is looking for a Server Product & Sales Enablement Sr. Advisor to arm sales generalists (Account Executives and Inside Sales Reps) with knowledge and collateral to develop more server opportunities. The right candidate will be responsible for building marketing materials, collateral, and content to help sales grow the front-end of the sales funnel for the Dell EMC server brands: PowerEdge servers and OpenManage systems management software.
This is a Global sales engagement role and requires alignment with each of the regional marketing, regional business, and sales operations teams. The successful candidate will be able to partner closely with PowerEdge and OpenManage product teams as well as Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations teams in the regions. The role requires a direct interface with Product Line Managers and Regional Sales Field Program Managers to gather sales plays, find knowledge gaps, and fill the needs of sales makers with prospecting content.
This sales engagement role is focused on opportunity development. The Server Product & Sales Enablement Sr. Advisor will align, manage, and grow our sales activation kits, transactional sales play collateral, and strategic conversation assets.
We are looking for an ambitious marketer and passionate storyteller who understands what sales needs from marketing to prospect B2B opportunities. You must be adept at weaving technical and complex information into the key talking points and sales narrative that prospects and our customers find compelling enough to act.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the regions to understand the needs and then develop prospecting assets that inside sales can use to find, develop, and move server opportunities further down the sales funnel.
· Work with key regional sales stakeholders to develop input for the type of collateral and content needed by sales to discover more server opportunities.
· Transfer knowledge to sales and build high-quality, extremely relevant, and highly utilized prospecting collateral that aligns to the server campaign’s use cases, themes, and objectives.
· Develop and prioritize sales conversations in coordination with regional sales and operations teams, our learning & development teams, and product teams to have the greatest impact to growth in the server business.
· Influence stakeholders and position the sales conversations most relevant to driving more PowerEdge business in the short and long term.
Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience PLUS a Bachelor’s degree; OR
· Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience PLUS (a) Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or English; or (b) Master’s degree in Marketing; OR
· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience PLUS an MBA
· Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and research skills
· Capable of writing and editing for a variety of audiences (e.g. CIO, VP, IT Admin)
· Extensive PowerPoint knowledge and experience creating great presentations that stakeholders want to present and customers want to see
· Understands how B2B sales works inside a large company
· Experience developing written content communications that drives action
· 1-2 years of technology content development experience highly-preferred
· Ability to consider multiple sources of input for development and refinement of content; comfortable taking constructive input and using it to iterate and improve the finished product
· Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines, producing high-quality work, and projecting a positive attitude
· Portfolio demonstrating content development experience
· Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
