Dell Enterprise Division has been in a tremendous growth mode. As a result of our growth, we are looking for a Networking Sales Engineer to join our organization in Miami, FL , to sell our Dell Campus, Datacenter, and SDN solutions. Ideal candidate can be Remote .

A career as a Network Sales Engineer (NSE) is one which is truly exciting, highly dynamic, challenging and very rewarding. This position is a sales role whereby you will be a key player in driving and helping to close Networking solution sales.

Role Responsibilities

- The Network Sales Engineer is responsible for working with their assigned field sales account executives and inside sales teams to drive and grow the enterprise business within their specific customer account sets

- Provide technical and pre sales support to Enterprise customers

- Perform in-depth, technical presentations and proposals

- Assist with the development of formal sales plans for assigned account and opportunities

- Provide specific solutions/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support for accounts

- Actively participate as a specialist on assigned accounts and provide consultative support in your area of expertise to other Network Systems Engineers

- Understanding and conversant about company, solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services

Desired profile

Requirements

- 8+ years networking related technical experience as a pre-sales engineer, knowledge of Dell Networking and relevant experience in key competitor advantages / disadvantages

- Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent

- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE, etc. are great to have, not mandatory

- Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills, Pre-Sales experience required, Self-initiated creating sales opportunities

- Outstanding verbal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member as well as assume a leadership role for the team when appropriate

- Windows, UNIX, Linux, Openstack, SD-WAN, Scripting, Open Source – are great to have, not mandatory, Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, PPP, MPLS
