Sales Training is about making sure our sales-makers are up to speed – keeping them ahead of trends and equipping them with new knowledge and power to persuade. Using a wide range of modalities, we create and deliver sales-specific training courses. Defining competency needs and shaping training on everything from sales skills to job-specific tools and Dell products, we work with other functions to deliver the right learning at the right time to the right people.

You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of sales-role specific training courses to sales-makers using a variety of modalities. Interacts with functional organizations to ensure the right training is delivered at the right time to the right people. Learning and development responsibility includes defining role competency needs, evaluating as-is, creating training and delivering training on job specific tools, company product and selling skills and reporting on outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to:

·  Delivers sales training curriculum to sales makers through a variety of modalities
·  Meets or exceeds quality targets for student experience including programs, materials and instructor led training
·  Executes and shares best practices for ensuring excellence in all aspects of learning and development
·  Empower sales through the acquisition of the level of knowledge and skills required to excel
·  Perform closed-loop corrective actions to ensure highest possible levels of knowledge transfer, training satisfaction and sales effectiveness
·  Perform detailed analysis of current skills and abilities in order to prescribe and deliver personalized learning paths
·  Provide feedback to leadership on Learning and Development and audience experience
·  Continually measure effectiveness of training analysis, content and delivery, while designing and executing plans for improvement

Essential Requirements

·  ​Intermediate MS office skills
·  Intermediate understanding of Sales
·  Training processes and procedures
·  Ability to work independently with only limited supervision
·  2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
