Principal Engineer, Solutions Architecture – Mainframe

Job description

The individual should be very knowledgeable with Mainframe Tape and DASD. Knowledge of DLm (Dell EMC's Disk Library for Mainframe) is a definite plus. The Principal Engineer will need to understand how the solutions fit into highly available and disaster recovery environments. Replication is involved with most implementations. Excellent communication skills are a must. This position is home based anywhere in the America's (LATAM/NORAM) and will require some travel to customer locations

Principal Engineer, Solutions Architecture  – Mainframe

Principal Engineer will be architecting & delivering/implementing state of the art Dell EMC  DASD & Tape on Disk  solutions to our Mainframe customers around the world. The individual should be very knowledgeable with Mainframe Tape and DASD. Knowledge of DLm (Dell EMC's Disk Library for Mainframe) is a definite plus. The Principal Engineer will need to understand how the solutions fit into highly available and disaster recovery environments. Replication is involved with most implementations. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Travel:   50%, mostly in the Americas.  Home based.
