Job Summary: The Principal Engineer, Service Delivery will be responsible for providing the primary management, administration, support, and ongoing maintenance of customer Infrastructure Platforms within a 24x7x365 environment and data center environment. This role must be able to understand, execute, and document moderate to complex operational tasks and work requests that are assigned and have experience in moderate to complex research and fact finding using various tools and informational sources.

Essential Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
·  7+ years of experience with VMware server-based products (ESX/ESXi, VSAN, vCenter, etc.)
·  Exposure in Datacenter technologies including VMWARE, TCP/IP, BGP, STP, HSRP, NAT, SNMP,  ACLs, Routing, Switching etc.
·  Expert knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Network and Vitalization products.
·  Technical understanding of VMware infrastructure products/service offerings: vSphere, vSOM, vSAN, vRealize, NSX.
·  Experience working with VMWare products in technical areas including hypervisor, drivers, management interfaces/processes, etc.
·  Strong Linux and Windows Operating System & VMware solution debugging skills.
·  Excellent Oral and Communication skills
·  Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
·  Power Shell scripting exprience

Desirable Requirements:

·  Experience in OS Certification Processes and procedures
·  Enterprise Server/IT company Industry experience.
·  Able to provide technical and administrative product information as well as take ownership for any customer technical issues within account base.
·  Industry certifications: VCP, NCP, RHCSA, VSAN Badge, VXRail Badge etc
·  Experience with Storage solutions: EMC Isilon or other Data protection products would be highly desirable
·  Ability to collaborate and work with support teams in various time zones
·  Understanding of ITIL principles and processes / experience with Service now or any other ticketing tool.
·  Good to have hands on experience in Ansible
·  Good to have experience working with in memory processing databases like Greenplum, Gemfire, Spark, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.
