Job description
Payroll Analyst – 14 month contract
Responsible for processing company payroll in cooperation with payroll provider (third party vendor).
Key responsibility:
· Payroll preparation and major contact for third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing is accurately and reflects company specific pay policies
· Preparation of different statistical reports on team member pay, commissions and bonuses, vacation, sickness, disability and workers compensation leave, taxes and withholdings
· Point of contact for team members for payroll related questions
· Audits team member pay records in terms of tax and social contribution
· May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings, related documentation, and SOX testing
· Administration of time and attendance tools
Desired profile
Requirements:
· advanced Excel knowledge
· good level of English
· strong analytical skills
· economic studies or commercial business education preferred
Preferences:
· Basic knowledge about German taxation and social insurances
