Key Responsibilities

The McAfee Security Specialist will be part of a service delivery team responsible for operational security activities and support for McAfee ePO platform. Additionally, they will handle escalations from SecureWorks Security Operations Center (SOC).

·  McAfee ePO modules may include: Anti-Virus; Disk Encryption; Host-Based Firewall; Host-Based IPS; Device Control; Patch Management; Network Security Manager
·  Understand and apply defense in depth strategies to the Client's environment and assist with technical security escalations and change management processes
·  Responsible for understanding Client's security strategies, goals, objectives, capabilities, budget and culture
·  Work to align the daily needs and the projects on the ePO platform;
·  Perform proactive platform management tasks when time permits to improve the customer security posture.
·  Perform other security and ITIL operations as required or assigned

As a managed security provider, Dell SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.

Essential Requirements

·  3+ years of experience in cyber security
·  Good understanding and direct experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator is a requirement
·  Managing McAfee ePO environments with more than 25,000 workstations and servers
·  University education, degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Network and Security
·  Detailed knowledge of security technologies and trends.

Desirable Requirements

·  McAfee Certified Product Specialist certification or similar McAfee certifications are preferred
·  Possess active industry certifications such as Comptia Security+, SSCP, GCIH, GCIA or related
·  Working knowledge/experience of network systems security principles and applications
·  Fundamental understanding of defense in depth strategies.
