Key Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to work with named distributors to enable them to upsell Support Services at their point of sale. Distributors will buy Dell products with a minimal support service level so that they can price position the hardware in their market and get flexibility as to which service upsell their customer can select Distributors are selling to a variety of Channel Partners who sell to end users The daily activities and responsibilities include:
· Proactively work with Distributors to liaise and manage order requirements, order management / fulfilment, issue tracking/resolution and provide daily order updates to Distributor; Engage with order fulfilment team to understand ordering issues and root cause
· Train distributor on service upsell process and tools and distinguishes NPOS & APOS requirements
· Act as a subject matter expert on all elements of the Services portfolio to support the sales organization to meet and/or exceed their objectives; work with sales team, sales management and support services sales specialists on account planning activity and team up with Technical Account Managers and Service Delivery Managers to expand account
· Proactively identifies distributors' needs/requirements and recommends/quotes appropriate Dell Services
· Develop, implement and follow up on plans to ensure best in class performance for the programs that he/she is responsible for
· Stay up to date with all new services offerings (POS point of sales and APOS near point of sales) and Solutions, including market and competition trends and support successful roll out of new APOS services offers Pro-active interlock with Technical Support
· Assist in the on-going education/development within the broader Service Upsell team, including coaching them on how to sell Support Services effectively
Desired profile
Essential Requirements
· Fluent in Italian with a good level in English
· 18 months Customer facing and/or Sales experience
· Experienced written and verbal communication with customers
· Tenacity to drive sales orders and issues to resolution
· Confident with excel for such activities as V-look-up, pivot table
