Summary
Dell Boomi partners with large companies to help them build their Connected Application. Dell Boomi is the glue that helps them extract, load and transform their customers data. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our US team.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for targeting, recruiting and onboarding new business partners. In this role, you’ll define and execute the plan, including identify top targets and field education. You will work with our regionally focused Account Executives to target your top target accounts and bring onboard new business partners.
You will be responsible for building your business, including a go to market plan, pipeline and closing new partner contracts. Post contract, you will work with Boomi’s partner success team to grow your partners and find new revenue streams from them. You will run your own book of business with annual revenue target.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with regionally focused account executives, determining how best to engage and helping them identify and close commercial use opportunities.
You will be responsible for structuring contracts to meet both short-term and long-term goals of the two organizations.
Last, you will have relentless focus on partner success. Helping your partners be successful and solving real business problems.
Responsibilities
· Build and execute against a strategic partner business plan, and regularly measure performance against the plan
· Identify and target key industries or companies to pursue for strategic partnerships
· Structure, negotiate and execute the appropriate partner models and contractual terms, including new partner contracts and contract renewals
· Qualify, pursue and execute partnership agreements with inbound partner leads
· Continuously assess performance metrics and outcomes to refine the partner plan and optimize adoption, partner satisfaction, and revenue
· Support partner enablement activities, such as internal/external education & communications, partner training and certification, and go to market planning
· Work in conjunction with Boomi’s regionally focused account team and technical account managers to ensure partner success
Requirements
· 8+ years in the software technology industry
· 3+ years sales, business development or alliance management experience
· Must have a BA/BS degree
· Self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and operating in a faced-paced, fluid environment
· Strong analytical competencies, with a willingness to dig into the details
· An ability identify and champion win-win scenarios
· A team player with a proven capability to collaborate and work across all levels of the organization
· Technical aptitude/acumen
· A capacity to clearly communicate and present information
· History of exceeding quota and partner satisfaction metrics
· Estimated 30% travel, included but not limited to partner meetings, conferences, on-site on-boarding activities
Preferences
· Background in OEM partnerships
· Experience managing SaaS/cloud alliances
· Integration experience desired
