Legal Operations provides all the administrative, reporting and program management support they need to succeed. Whether focused locally, regionally or globally, Legal Operations professionals develop plans, oversee programs and processes and maintain records. They review legal data, provide policy information and legal advice across the organization and manage a wide range of legal business matters.

The Cyber Security (Rapid 7 Security Analysis) Advisor serves as operational support for the technologies that the Security Information Management (SIM) area of corporate Cyber security support. Ensuring that all system components are maintained, updated, monitored, accessible, and available according to Cyber security standards; while partnering with other engineers in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of diverse solutions

Key Responsibilities

·  Interface with cybersecurity engineers, governance, and IT teams to assist in obtaining vulnerability management-related data and information.
·  Support implementation of infrastructure, applications, monitors, security controls, and other project requirements based on cybersecurity standards and policies.
·  Assist and perform testing of implemented solutions, recommend improvements, and support the deployment of changes following Dell's change and release management process.
·  Primarily responsible for providing operations management Nexpose and related systems.
·  Serve as operations level-2 support for assigned technologies, contribute to root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and service restoration procedures.
·  Manage the infrastructure and software lifecycles; including setup, maintenance, end-of-life retirements, replacements, and upgrades.
·  Deploy and administer all maintenance patches and hotfixes as recommended by engineering and vendors; while ensuring that all managed systems adhere to Cybersecurity policies, standards, and processes.

Essential Requirements

·  2-year degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related major; or 2 years of direct experience in the field of cybersecurity or 2 years of big data analytics experience.
·  Strong understanding of IT and Cybersecurity technologies.
·  Demonstrated technical experience with basic administration of Rapid7 Nexpose and related components such as console and scan engines.  General support of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
·  Linux and Windows Administration experience.
·  Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals, and network security architecture.

Desirable Requirements

·  Industry certifications relevant to the role such as: CISSP, CRISC, CISM, ISA/PCIP, COBIT, and ITIL.
·  The ideal candidate possesses experience managing large scale enterprise environments and has expertise in all aspects of system management, policy design, and security service delivery.
·  A strong technical background with multiple IT disciplines and knowledge of current cybersecurity challenges and best practices is also a plus.
