Position Location:                                           Round Rock, Texas

Salary:                                                               $102,690.00 annual

Hours:                                                                Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:                                        Responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Serve as primary System Engineer for Wintel & Linux based servers. Work with IT segments to upgrade end of life servers for IT applications. Work to migrate old applications to the new infrastructure. Work with application teams to investigate, rationalize, design, plan and implement new infrastructure to allow applications migration from end-of-life hardware to supported platforms. Work with application teams, infrastructure and application project managers to handle large scale migration of complex applications, including server hardware, operating systems, databases and SAN or NAS storage. Document problems, diagnostics, interactions, next steps, and solutions implementation in various engineering tools (LCM, Application Tracker, IPMS, CMDB & Troux).

Qualifications:                                                                This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Technical Support Professional or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Technical Support Professional or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. Requires experience with Wintel SE; scripting tools (Powershell, Bourne Shell); IPMS; LCM tool; IIS; .net; Windows 2012, 2016 & Windows 2008; migration of existing application from depreciated environments to the latest supported standards; capacity management and performance managements tools and processes including Life Cycle Management (LCM), Foglight Server Capacity Management tools, and DPACK Capacity Management; project management methodology (Agile / SCRUM/Waterfall); Windows Nano Kernel, SQL Server 2008, 2013, 2014, Docker, and VMWare; and Web Servers /J2EE engine (IIS, Tomcat/Apache).

This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program with a bonus of $250.
