Role Overview

The associate is a member of a specialized billing team dedicated to the generation of billing activity for large enterprise customers. The associate becomes familiar with the customer, the sales team and management to accurately record day to day transactions related to customer sales.

Role Responsibilities

-Prepares monthly detailed and summary invoicing for a discreet group of customer accounts.

-Acts as point-of-contact for inquiries by customer representatives.

-Records client install dates in accounting system to begin revenue recognition

-Maintains adequate filing of supporting documentation as needed

-Provides relevant financial and operational information in support of revenue reporting and forecasting.

-Create and update documentation of workflow processes

As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.

Desired profile

Requirements

-Bachelors in Accounting or Finance

-2-4 years of billing experience

-Understanding of financial functions, including billing, invoicing processes, accounts payable, revenue recognition and accrual accounting.

-Strong analytical, problem solving, written and communication skills

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

-Sensitivity to confidential information

-Advanced proficiency in Excel

Preferences

-Experience utilizing Oracle Software

-Experience utilizing Great Plains and Workday Software

-SOX knowledge / experience

Location

Work onsite daily at the Atlanta, GA office.
