To meet this challenge, we implement best practices, provide general financial support, resolve queries, prepare reports and provide statistics. We also design policies and procedures that adhere to audit standards and conform to FASB and SEC guidance, as well as compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley section 404.

Key Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

SEC Reporting:
• Assist team in the preparation and timely filing of Form 10-Q/10-K in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Research and analyze technical accounting and financial reporting issues and assess disclosure implications.
• Facilitate quarterly review of financial statements with CAO and executive team.
• Interface with external auditors.
• Liaise with third-party vendor to ensure proper XBRL tagging and EDGAR submission.
• Assist with preparation and review of quarterly earnings release documents.
• Assist with preparation and review of quarterly consolidating financial statements.
• Coordinate and respond to SEC comment letters, as required.
• Liaise with external reporting teams of Dell Technologies subsidiaries who are also SEC registrants.
• Maintain effective internal controls surrounding the financial reporting process in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley and Company policies and procedures.
• Involvement in special projects as warranted.

Additional Job Description
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Masters degree preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Preferred experience with financial statement preparation and disclosure and/or technical accounting research.
• Preferred experience with SEC reporting.
• Advanced Excel experience.
• Strong communication skills, accounting research abilities and technical writing.
• Project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
• Self-starter, capable of working independently and within a team.
• Sense of urgency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and adaptive.
