Dell’s Enterprise Signal Integrity  Team

Dell’s Enterprise Signal Integrity Team(SI) Team is responsible for driving innovation in the field of Signal Integrity pushing the boundaries of next generation high speed signaling.  The team members are accomplished industry experts with multiple patents and publications.  The SI team focuses on innovative solutions around portfolio-wide transmission line challenges in the design and support of enterprise server platform development.

Role Overview

Dell is looking for bright and motivated engineers in the field of electrical and computer engineering to work on architecting and developing the next generation of computing servers. Specifically you will have the opportunity to work with our engineers in the fields of high speed signal integrity with a system design focus for server platforms.

Role Responsibility

·  Analyze and model power distribution network of high speed servers
·  Analyze current return path and signal to noise coupling for single-ended and differential traces
·  Model and measure PCB transmission lines, vias, connectors, cables and flex cables
·  Assist in the design review of server platform board designs

Requirements 

·  M.S. or B. S candidates in Electrical Engineering 
·  Knowledge of Signal Integrity theory/ Electromagnetic theory
