Job description
David Andrew are a growing property company requiring a negotiator for their Highbury office who can offer an excellent customer experience and service to our clients whether this is via the telephone, web or other channel. You will need to have had a minimum two years previous experience in the industry with a professional company ideally located with in zone 1 or 2 and be driven to offer tenants and landlords a first class service.
The package on offer will include a basic salary, commission, quarterly bonus scheme car allowance and or company car. The OTE will be in the region £ 40,000 in year 1.
You must be able to work independently, apply judgment, maintain stable performance under stress and remain flexible in a changing work environment. You will be expected to hit monthly / quarterly / yearly targets
The role of the lettings Negotiator.
- To answer inbound enquiries via the internet, phone or in person, providing an effective and efficient service
- To maintain regular contact with landlords and tenants
- Update data base with accurate information
- Support the lettings coordinator to ensure the tenants moves successfully into their new home.
- Showing potential applicants properties
- Maintaining customer relationships and building new relationships with potential clients
- ordering floorplans, photographs and EPC’s with our marketing company
- Compile board lists on a weekly bases
- Canvass local properties that present opportunities for the business.
- Be prepared to study for your ARLA exam if not already qualified (company pay course fees)
you’ll be able to demonstrate:-
- Experience of working with and helping customers whilst understanding their needs
- empathy for a customer’s situation
- communication skills, both written and in speech
- accuracy with a good eye for detail
- a pleasant, friendly style capable of working as part of a team
You will need to be motivated, passionate, determined and ambitious to be successful in our company.
You will be expected to a work every Saturday with a day off in the week. Our working hours are
Monday - Thursday - 9am - 6.30 pm
Friday 9am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 4pm
