We are seeking a Web Application Security intern to join our R&D Security Team. As an Application Security intern, you will be responsible for addressing information security requirements during all aspects of our secure application development process (SecureSDLC). You will have an opportunity to find, validate, and fix security vulnerabilities on strategic global development projects and cloud operations. You will be using network and application vulnerability assessment tools.

• Provide security insight during the design, development, test and release of our Platform applications and services.
• Evaluate the security of applications code, adherence to application security standards, and application vulnerability assessments.
• Conduct web application security scans, analyze results, prioritize vulnerabilities, research and propose remediation steps.
• Perform application and infrastructure penetration tests.
• Evaluate and improve Security processes and tools.

RequirementsExigences
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program for the duration of the internship; cannot graduate or have graduated
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
• Work onsite at a Dassault Systèmes location; no remote or offsite permitted
• Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
• Highly organized with critical attention to details
• Experience
> With application security assessment tools such as: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, AppScan, WebInspect, Fortify, Veracode, Nessus, etc.
> With vulnerability scanners and hardening tools.
> In engineering or assessing the security of cloud, SaaS, and multi-tenanted applications.
> With Linux operating system.
• Ability and willingness to self-teach new and advance software functions; coaching and instruction will be provided, but we want someone who goes after knowledge
• Strong communication skills in two parts: 1.) very strong writing skills utilizing the rules of English grammar; 2.) verbally clear, concise, and grammatically correct oral (speaking) communication skills in English
Plusses, not required
• Experience with OWASP and CWE
• GPA 3.3 or higher
• Any of the following certifications: CISSP, CEH, GPEN or equivalent
