Job description

Work consists of three projects.

Video:
•    Create a series of approximately 3-minute videos to demonstrate basic functionality of the ENOVIA web apps. Video topics include how to use a structure browser, how to design custom views, how to use collections of business objects, etc.
•    Use Camtasia software to create the videos, sync video and audio tracks, and edit tracks.



Online User Help:
•    Navigate through a web app and check for the existence of online user help. Identify missing help topics and resolve by checking helpmarker to web page mapping.



HTML Conversions:
•    Work with XMetaL XML authoring software to import Microsoft Word files with appropriate styles, apply ENOVIA styles in XML, add new features as required, and generate HTML for inclusion in the Pinpoint product.



This is an opportunity to learn about ENOVIA web apps from a user’s perspective and see how online user assistance works. You will make short training videos about different app features, learn how to navigate the apps, and check the online user help. There may also be the chance to perform basic conversions from XML to HTML, markup languages that deliver user assistance in leading industries.



This is a paid internship, full time 40 hours per week May 15 or 22, 2017 – August 25, 2017.



The internship is based at Dassault Systèmes North American Headquarters at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts. There is a free shuttle bus service during the morning and evening commutes between the MBTA’s Red Line Alewife T stop and our office.
