As a SOLIDWORKS Tools Developer Intern, you will work closely with a small, international team of developers whose main mission is to sustain and improve developer efficiency across the SOLIDWORKS R&D organization.
By the end of the internship you’ll have an increased understanding of: Protecode Software licensing Jira, Confluence DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Microsoft Dev Environment Git, MS Build, Team Foundation Server, Jenkins Unit Testing Python, Powershell, Perl, C#, .NET, Visual Studio.
This is a paid internship available from May through August 2018. You must work on site in the North American Headquarters at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts.

What will your role be?
You’ll be involved with setting up the system of software analysis using Protecode to look for open source components in the software and vulnerabilities. You will work with a mentor from our team who will act as a guide for the required tasks.
Your Challenges ahead Work on Protecode for analyzing software to find usage of open source software components and vulnerabilities associated
Setup a system to periodically run the analysis and detect changes and create a process to validate new components and vulnerabilities
Develop appropriate trend visualizations for the above processes Document your findings and strategy in our knowledgebase
Fix bugs assigned to the SOLIDWORKS Tools team
Attend weekly SOLIDWORKS Tools team meetings Your key success factors
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science for the duration of the internship
Completed course work involving Object Oriented Programming techniques, Data Structures and Algorithms
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server is a plus
Minimum GPA 3.0
Well developed organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong command of the English language both orally and in writing
Curious personality and eager to learn Team player, cooperative, enthusiastic and helpful Self-motivated person
