We are currently recruiting for a Telemarketer working within the Daimler Fleet Management Department. The main purpose of the role is to generate appointments with prospective customers for the Daimler Fleet Management (DFM) sales team. You will be required to manage your time to achieve this objective and the performance targets set, while maintaining and updating our chosen CRM system to record your results and work in progress.
This will involve working closely with the Daimler Fleet Management Sales and Account Management Team to achieve customer and sales growth, by the telemarketing of cold prospects to deliver qualified leads and appointments. This will be done by meeting set targets of generating a minimum number of new business calls per day / appointments per month / year.
Capture prospect data, including future tender and contract renewal dates, and recording information on DFM's chosen CRM system for accurate and timely follow-up. You'll carry out administrative tasks contained within the department, including upkeep of CRM system. It's key that once you've identified customer leads you refer this to either a Fleet Sales Manager or Internal Account Manager, depending on the size of the opportunity identified by you. Also a great part of this role is that you will be able to suggest new initiatives, campaigns and target companies, to help drive sales and improve departmental efficiencies. And also be flexible and willing to pick up tasks outside of your normal day to day routine when required.

- Strong planning and organisational ability, and ability to work under own initiative
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence your customer
- Excellent telephone manner, presenting a confident and professional persona
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Enjoys working in a target driven environment
- Team spirited
- Keyboard skills with experience in Excel/Word and PowerPoint – general computer literacy
