Tasks

Daimler Financial Services supports the sales of Daimler Groups automobile brands with tailor-made financial services. The products extend from leasing, retail financing, and dealer financing to commercial fleet management, insurance solutions, banking services, and innovative mobility services, e.g. the car2go brand. Daimler Financial Services operates in 40 countries. With more than 7,000 employees, the company services a contract volume of about 80 billion Euros.

The GET One program has been initiated by Daimler Financial Services to enable fulfillment of the strategic targets for Europe up to the year 2020. Along portfolio and penetration growth a major goal is the reduction of the operating ratio to a target value of one percent. The Management Team identified standardization and harmonization of the currently heterogeneous process and system landscape, efficiency increase and reduction of technical complexity as main levers for achieving these ambitious strategic targets. Based on these guidelines the GET One program details and implements an existing target picture for the future process and system landscape along a defined and aligned roadmap. The program consists of the seven projects: Contract Management (CMS), Business Partner (BP), Business Intelligence (BI), Output & Document Management (ODM), Multi-GAAP Accounting (MGA), Portals (P) and Workflow (W).

The Test Manager supports the GET ONE program and projects in all Test Management related activities.

Your tasks will be:
Supporting the sustainable execution of the GET ONE test concept/strategy and supporting the development and execution of test automation and a proper test data management.
Contact person on program Level for the overall test management solution.
Ensure and support the creation of high-quality test cases.
Develop a test plan, evaluate test efforts and conduct risk analysis as part of the test concept.
Cross-divisional coordination and management of test phases within all projects, implementation teams and markets in scope.
Creation and alignment of program related test activities as well as steering and controlling of such test activities.
Creation of communication platforms with the aim to transfer knowledge and best practice sharing.
Organize and coordinate test teams, test environment, test levels (system test, integration test, UAT), test data.
Plan and steer the testing and ensure the consolidation of test results (Initiate test tasks, monitor test progress, react on test results and revised frame conditions).
Support definition, implementation and adaptions on the test management organization within GET ONE.
Support definition and implementation of a sufficient and efficient reporting structure supporting program needs at best.
Evaluate and decide on appropriate test methods/tools/templates in collaboration with the test management lead and the project leads.
Ensure proper documentation of project deliverables, workshops/project jour fixe etc..
Support project development and cross-project collaboration and development in regards to testing.
Analyze existing test processes and methods for possible reuse (ITM standards).
Identification and definition of continuous improvement activities.
Define new test processes and methods under consideration of existing ITM standard tools.

Qualifications

Education:
University degree in business, economics or related fields

Additional qualification:
Certified ISTQB®

Experience and specific knowledge:
Thorough knowledge within relevant business field
Thorough organizational competencies
Thorough knowledge within Test Strategy, Test Management, Test Automation and Test Data Management
Thorough knowledge within Project Management
Project management and delivery experiences

IT skills:
Practical experience with project management tools (e.g. Clarity/Open Workbench, SharePoint)
Very good command of MS Office products

Language skills:
English business fluent language skills (verbally and in written), additional other European languages preferred

Soft skills:
Analytical strength
Driven, positive attitude and proactive approach, ability to work under pressure and deal ambiguity
Sensitivity to working in an international environment with different stakeholders on various management levels

Other assets:
Willingness to travel

This is a full-time job, temporary from 01.05.2016 to 31.12.2019
