Mercedes-Benz Melbourne has an opportunity for a highly organised individual to join their dealership as a Delivery Coordinator. This is a pivotal role in the dealership responsible for providing an exceptional experience that must continuously exceed customer expectations and conduct a flawless delivery.

As a Delivery Coordinator y ou will p repare guests for the delivery of their new vehicle and ensure the process goes smoothly and exceeds their expectations. You will perform outstanding vehicle deliveries, ensuring that customers begin their ownership experience with full knowledge of their vehicles operation. Special emphasis will need to be placed on creating a memorable experience the customer will remember.

Reporting to the New Car Sales Manager the main areas of responsibilities for the role include:

- Maintaining regular contact with customers awaiting vehicle delivery;
- Coordinating timely delivery dates with customers in collaboration with the sales; team, finance department and aftersales departments;
- Ensuring quality control of vehicles for delivery;
- Assessing customer knowledge and priorities to personalize each delivery;
- Delivering vehicles to customers and completion of the required documentation;

- Ensuring customers are comfortable with the features and operation of their new vehicle;

- Explaining and demonstrating vehicle features and technologies, focusing on customer comfort level and retention.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong customer focus, with a pro-active attitude and have exceptional communication skills both written and oral. You will have superior organisational skills with the ability to plan and forecast multiple tasks concurrently. You will be competent in Microsoft Excel and be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work. It would be advantageous if you are bilingual however this is not essential.

Experience using ERA systems preferred but not essential.
