  • Sindelfingen (Stuttgart)
  • Design/UX/UI

Job description

Tasks

CASE/EVA = Connectivity, Autonomous Driving, Services & Sharing, Electric Drive/ Electric Vehicle Architecture

The trend toward electric propulsion will transform the automotive sector at a fundamental level. At the Paris Motor Show we revealed the first model as part of our new Mercedes-Benz EQ brand. With CASE/EVA, we are following the revolution in technologies, products and services supported by cross-functional teams within the company. We link the four subjects of connectivity, autonomous driving, service and sharing, and electric drive in connection with the EVA2 vehicle architecture, and in doing so shape our transformation from a vehicle manufacturer into a mobility provider. The aim is to develop solutions for the mobility of the future that offer an extraordinary customer experience. We do this by looking at the triple "vehicle", "person" and "environment", because the ecosystem surrounding the vehicle is becoming increasingly important. As an After Sales Service Designer, you will be involved with the After Sales business activities of the future

Your responsibilities:
You will design and promote the After Sales products and services of the future for CASE/EVA subjects, particularly in the field of autonomous driving and shared services, i.e.
You will monitor and analyze future trends and developments in connection with CASE relevant topics in an international After Sales context.
You will identify potential fields for the After Sales business of the future, assess their potential, design prototypes, as well as test and improve them for roll-out. You will work out proposals to guarantee a successfull implementation and will offer solutions to solve upcoming issues.
You will work closely with Daimler AG's existing After Sales business units, and coordinate activities and act as an interface with the CASE/EVA organization.
You will organize your activities around customers' expectations, and represent them within the organization.
You will think on an international scale, have a good network and make use of the potential and expertise offered by the global Mercedes-Benz After Sales organization.
You will be independently responsible for representing your topics on the corresponding CASE/EVA committees and projects.

How we operate:
As an independent organizational unit, we act in a flexible, innovative and above all quick way in close cooperation with all of the relevant functions at the Mercedes-Benz Cars organization.
We use the principles that play a role in the Leadership 2020 initiative as a basis. One example is the "swarm organization". This means that we make extensive use of collective knowledge and create space for creativity. This helps us to maintain an overview of exceptionally complex issues, and to act faster.
