With this particular CAReer position, you will launch your future career in the department “Mercedes-Benz Vans Sales”:

Mercedes-Benz Sales Germany (MBVD) is part of Daimler AG and one of the largest automotive sales organizations. The business unit Mercedes-Benz Vans Sales Germany is responsible for sales of new and used vans – commercial as well as in the private vans segment. In addition, we provide customer-oriented services and sales of parts/accessories. Developing strategies with us to accomplish our future sales mission is your task.

Your tasks include
- Management and coordination of specific parts of the MB Vans strategy process “Strategy 2020” and support by developing content in consultation with all involved parties.

- Analysis of market potential and identifying recommended courses of action; developing and implementing sales concepts (marketing mix, product, price, promotions, service, process).

- Supporting the definition of our strategy phases. Operationalizing the strategic objectives and developing a tracking tool to monitor implementation.

- Sub-project: Developing strategic approaches for the focus topic “Professional Franchise Vans” in close collaboration with all relevant company projects (i.a. MAR 2020).

- Preparation of various presentations, chairing of meetings and workshops as well as supporting the preparation of documents for different decision-making processes.

For the international trainee program CAReer we expect:
- A solid university degree (ideally a Master's degree)

- First professional work experience (18 months are obligatory with a Bachelor's degree)

- Excellent study results

- Several months of experience abroad and international exposure

- Excellent English language skills along with very good knowledge of German

Furthermore, for this particular position you should have the following qualifications:
- You have preferably completed or are about to complete a degree in Business & economics, International management, Economics, Business & engineering or Industrial engineering

- A major in the area of Controlling, Finance, Banking, Sales & marketing, Automotive industry, or Planning/reporting is preferred

- Preferably you have already completed an internship in the automotive industry

This trainee position is located in Berlin, Germany. A valid visa and work permit for Germany is mandatory.
