With this particular CAReer position, you will launch your future career in the department “Information Technology Management”:
Daimler Information Technology Management (ITM) China supports the business operations of the company in China's fast growing automotive market. The supporting areas range from production and sales to after-sales, financial services and R&D topics, and cover Daimler's local joint ventures as well. In the digital age, innovation will create new value for the business.

Your tasks include:
- Define and discuss key strategic innovation challenges and execute innovation initiatives

- Identify, communicate and build a network to companies of all types, start-ups and universities which could benefit the department in the sense of technology creation and application, business development & digital trends

- Determine new fields of innovation; communicate status and progress of agreed innovation projects

- Promote innovation process to other parties. Involve, collect ideas and requirements from events, third-parties and partners. Ideate together how the efforts of Partnerships and Network team can be used strategically or practically

- Present the IT innovation to other parties and built network and establish relationships

Qualifications

For the international trainee program CAReer we expect:
- A solid university degree (ideally a Master's degree)

- First professional work experience (18 months are obligatory with a Bachelor's degree)

- Excellent study results

- Six months of experience abroad and international exposure

- Excellent English language skills

Furthermore, for this particular position you should have the following qualifications:
- You have preferably completed or are about to complete a degree in Business & economics, Business studies, International management, Psychology, Business informatics, Computer science

- A major in the area of Sales and marketing, Automotive industry is preferred

- Preferably you have already completed an internship in the automotive industry

- Additional qualifications such as previous experience in Innovation Lab and International Business management, especially innovation management are preferred
