With this particular CAReer position, you will launch your future career in the department “Human Resources”:
Making cars with people for people lies at the heart of everything we do. You can make a difference by assisting our business partners in all questions concerning Human Resources Management, including aspects of strategic planning, compliance with labor laws and internal policies on remuneration. With your involvement in personnel development and recruiting, you will actively assist in winning people with the potential to shape the future of mobility. It will be your responsibility to devise appropriate procedures and initiatives in order to instill a strong passion and sense of personal identification with Daimler in all our prospective employees. You will support our new employees throughout their career paths and serve as a key HR business partner for our company departments.

Your tasks include:
- Counseling and assisting our employees and executive managers in an international context

- Developing innovative HR tools in order to provide operational and strategic business support

- Creating complex presentations and providing recommendations relevant for decision-making processes for a wide variety of stakeholders

- As a HR business partner for our company departments, you will provide support for the departments in all topics and processes relating to Human Resources Management

- You will be responsible for implementing concepts of Mercedes-Benz Cars production

Qualifications

For the international trainee program CAReer we expect:
- A solid university degree (ideally a Master's degree)

- First professional work experience (18 months are obligatory with a Bachelor's degree)

- Excellent study results

- Several months of experience abroad and international exposure

- Excellent English language skills along with very good knowledge of German

You also need to convince us with your personality: We expect a bold and independent mindset, curiosity and a desire for change, openness and the highest possible standards of integrity. You enjoy working in an international working environment and you possess a high degree of mobility and flexibility. You show a pragmatic and organized approach to work and finally, a high level of motivation to take on and enjoy management responsibility.

Furthermore, for this particular position you should have the following qualifications:
- You have preferably completed or are about to complete a degree in Business & economics, Business studies, International management, Psychology, Law, Educational theory of economics, Social sciences

- A major in the area of HR, Organization, Labor law, Commercial law is preferred

- Preferably you have already completed an internship in the automotive industry

- Additional qualifications such as previous experience in Personnel management are preferred:
