Tasks

The functional area Governance, Compliance & Business Solutions (FAB) is responsible for the business methods, operations and process workflows of Accounting, Controlling and Treasury within the Daimler Group.They have to be designed, standardized nationally and internationally, integrated into different business views and in addition aligned and designed future oriented taking into consideration the internal and external permanent change. Furthermore FAB aims to secure consistency, unity, standardization and compliance by using guidelines and IT-systems.

Your tasks will be:
You are required to support the development of a new standardized system landscape for accounting and financial reporting for the Financial Services Group (DFS). Your responsibilities are to consult, plan and design the following topics:
Support of the rollout of the SAP Accounting Template (GALA Global Accounting Landscape) in DFS companies worldwide.
Analysis of Requirements of the local processes and Accounting Standards, the Accounting processes for Leasing and Financing in the companies onsite with regard to differences of local GAAP and IFRS.
Being the representative of the SAP template in the companies. Coordination of local processes and interfaces between the market and the line organization of the template in FAB/F.
Onsite support of the rollout and after the go-live of the template.

Qualifications

Education/Professional experience:
You have a master or bachelor degree in business informatics or business administration and enjoy working in an international and very dynamic environment
You possess some experience in project work with international background as well as in designing business methods, processes and systems

Language skills:
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
German language skills are nice to have

IT skills:
You are very familiar of handling the SAP modules FI (AP, Bank Accounting Cash Accounting), FI-CA incl. Business Partner, MM/SRM, SD and could already gain initial experience in implementation of accounting requirements in SAP systems

Soft skills:
Analytic and conceptual skills are among your strengths
Highly skilled communicative and intercultural competence

Other assets:
Willingness to to frequently travel on business
