Mercedes-Benz Bank Service Center Berlin is a service-oriented, innovative and international service center of Mercedes-Benz Bank. Located in the heart of Berlin, we provide financial services for commercial customers in the automotive environment. Over 750 employees located at Alexanderplatz provide all-round services for corporate customers, salesmen and dealers. This subsidiary company of Mercedes-Benz bank is youngest of the three locations in Germany, beside the headquarter in Stuttgart and Mercedes-Benz Banking Service GmbH for private customers in Saarbruecken. Moreover, from our modern urban Berlin enterprise we service not only the business within vehicle financing, but vehicle leasing and insurances. We are home to many other parent companies of Daimler Financial Services for the European region. We bundle further European functions, answering to the increasing demand for different European markets.

The European Shared Services Retail Collections in Berlin is servicing accounts with a combined customer portfolio for Germany, Spain, Italy and France. The focus of this department is to loss mitigation through the negotiating with customer to reach a payment arrangement. If payment arrangements are not possible the department is responsible for taking actions that reduces the potential credit loss for Daimler Financial Services. Currently we are establishing a new independent BeNeLux team in order to build up core competencies.

BeNeLux Collections Retail Professional minimizes risks, failures and losses by considering and respecting all internal and external requirements. It is a very self responsible role under the business scope of the assigned retail BeNeLux customers.

Tasks:
Responsibility for retail areas on a Belgian or Dutch market
Negotiation with customer to collect monthly installments from customers facing a problem of high arrears. Using available technology while adhering to regulatory requirements
Use negotiation tools to determine a customers reason for delinquency
Proactive thinking to assist customer in determining the proper resolution (payment, restructure, voluntary surrender).
Providement of restructuring agreements to qualified customers
Verification and execution of risk reducing actions into the conceded competencies
Facilitation of contract termination, vehicle repossession and assignment of cases to third party lawyers for non-resolved collection cases
Support and execution of insolvency proceedings.

Qualifications

Education/Professional experience:
Bank/Commercial education, additional qualification desirable
Experience in Debt Collection or customer service
Experience in claim management
Experience in conflict resolution and customer retention
Experience in working in call center environment will be a plus, but not necessary

Language skills:
Dutch/French at native speaker level
English language at advanced level

This is a full-time job in shift work.
