BSc/HBO internship: CRM for PacLease, Improve process and data quality

Problem description
PacLease GmbH is a truck and trailer rental company in Germany. The sales department of PacLease has a large group of front office sales representatives continuously contacting and visiting (potential) customers. Until now the sales representatives had their own customer contact registration tool (e.g. Excel). When a sales representative left the company a fair chance existed that this information was lost for PacLease.
With the implementation of CRM in MS Dynamics NAV, PacLease wants to achieve a central registration of and reporting on the customer contacts by the sales representatives. Next to this PacLease wants to collect detailed information on the (potential) customers fleet. This information will improve the chance of success in sales opportunities.

Business needs
PacLease uses MS Dynamics NAV as core ERP system. All major business functions are supported by MS Dynamics NAV. Recently PacLease has started a proof of concept using CRM in MS Dynamics NAV. The Proof of concept concerns the support of the sales representatives with customer contact information and customer details. The job to be done concerns:
1. Contact and Customer creation
• The analysis of the Contact & Customer creation process by sales representatives and back office
• Develop a proposal to improve this process (efficiency and accuracy)
• Implement the new process
2. Data Quality
• The analysis of the data quality of the current contacts and customers and other CRM related data in MS Dynamics NAV
• Proposal for the data cleansing
